Why does aela sleep in the basement
Notes section mentions she can't be killed, does that mean she's flagged essential or just lies on the ground until she regenerates enough health just like Lydia? I dumped a bunch of equipment on the floor to stockpile for enchanting later, and maybe 10 seconds later Jordis comes down and asks me if dropping the equipment was an accident, and if she could have it.
I said no and she walked away, but now when I drop equipment I want her to have she doesn't say anything. Is there any way to unflag what I said? Anyone know where Jordis room in manor?
Where did jordis go? I've noticed that when I give Jordis 1 daedric arrow, she doesn't actually have a unlimited amount like Lydia or any other NPC I use for arrow dupes. This can be fixed by asking them to move back to their original home you should get a "Visit your spouse's house" journal update at this point, if things are working properly and sleeping there to activate the effect, then telling them you want to move to whichever house you actually want to live in.
Alternatively, you can enable Lover's Comfort by using startquest relationshipmarriagefin and setstage relationshipmarriagefin 20 in the console, then either completing the quest as normal or using setstage relationshipmarriagefin 25 there is no need for the spouse to move into their house, nor to for you to sleep there, so this also works in the event of the Hearthfire bug listed below.
Spouses who stayed at inns before marriage may not actually sleep in those places, but Lover's Comfort should activate if you pay to spend a night at that inn.
Telling e. Lydia that you should live in your house in Whiterun will not fix this bug: you have to use the conversation option for "their" house, even though it's the same place. Last edited by bobczes ; 8 Sep, pm. Tell her it's time to move, then tell her to move to Whiterun. Since she's also the housecarl of Breezehome, it bugs out since your home IS her home. If this is not a menu option, moving to a separate location altogether may fix it. You didn't say whose's wife Per page: 15 30 I think shes plotting to kill me After a certain point in the Companions quest - there was a certain corpse laying in the barracks area of Jorvasskrr Anyway - much later in the game I went back to Jorvasskrr to find Aela to get archery training and it was nighttime, normally she was sitting in the main hall, but I couldn't find her so I went to check the bedrooms User Info: Kthaara.
